DICKY INVITATION CRICKET TOURNAMENTS – 2016 (U 14 & U 16)
The Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation (CSSF) was started in 1996, mainly to impart coaching on the basics and finer aspects of the game. The focus of the coaching agenda has been the school children of various age groups from 6 years to 19 years of age.
Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation will conduct its 18th edition of Dicky Memorial Inter camp Invitation limited overs cricket tournament in the Under 14 Category (Cut off date: 01.09.2002) and also its 13th edition of Dicky Super Trophy for the Under 16 Category (Cut off date 01.09.2000) for Coaching Academies and District Cricket Associations.
Dicky Memorial Cricket tournament is an off-shoot of the motivation from the products of the St. Bede’s School Ground and Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation. The two tournaments are dedicated to the memory of Dear Dicky Sundar, who was the co-ordinator of Chennai St. Bede’s Sports Foundation. Having lost him very early in life, we pledge to continue the efforts put in by Dicky. In a small way, we wanted to thank Dicky for all that he had done for us and therefore we decided to conduct these Tournaments annually.
