TNPL update – RI Palani Speech
Dindigul and Tirunelveli grounds have shaped up well, says RI Palani
Chennai: RI Palani, Honorary Joint-Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), spoke about the development of the grounds at Dindigul and Tirunelveli. He spoke ahead of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2016.
Excerpts:
On the new grounds for TNPL:
“The grounds at Natham (Dindigul) and Tirunelveli have shaped up well too. Overall, everything is fantastic. On television it will be good too as we are heading in the right direction. There is hectic work for us on both grounds which may last until August 22 and may fall in place then.
Modular stands have been built at Natham (Dindigul) and Tirunelveli to accommodate 4000-5000 people. Since both grounds are away from the town, we have arranged free transportation for bringing 1500-1600 people from Madurai and Tirunelveli to the grounds. Rest of the people will travel on their own.”
