For the first time in the campus of Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Perungudi, Women’s Chess Tournament between the Universities of South India will be held from 26.12.2023 to 29.12.2023
In this championship, players from Andhra Pradesh. Kerala, Karnataka. Telangana and universities including Puducherry will participate. Around 600 players from around 100 universities and 200 coaches and managers will participate in this event.
Hon’ble Law Minister Thiru. S. Regupathy inaugurated this Championship and Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. N.S. Santosh Kumar delivered the congratulatory address. Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Dr. Gowri Ramesh delivered the welcome address and Dr. Asokan, CEO of Gem Hospital in Perungudi attended as special guest.
The four winning teams will qualify to participate in the All India Chess Tournament that will be conducted next month.
